AN ACT to amend the public service law, in relation to the application
of certain provisions of the environmental conservation law to all
predominately oil-fired electric generating facilities over one
hundred megawatts
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. The public service law is amended by adding a new section
2 73 to read as follows:
3 § 73. Application of certain provisions of the environmental conserva-
4 tion law. The provisions of sections 1-0101, 3-0301, 15-0313, 17-0301,
5 19-0103, 19-0105, 19-0301, 19-0303, 19-0305, 19-0311 and 72-0303 of the
6 environmental conservation law and section 704.5 and part 750 of title
7 six of the official compilation of codes, rules and regulations of the
8 state of New York shall apply to all predominately oil-fired electric
9 generating facilities over one hundred megawatts.
10 § 2. This act shall take effect on the one hundred twentieth day after
11 it shall have become a law. Effective immediately, the addition, amend-
12 ment and/or repeal of any rules or regulations necessary for the imple-
13 mentation of this act on its effective date are authorized to be made on
14 or before such date.
