AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to the New York
city paratransit transportation program
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. The public authorities law is amended by adding a new
2 section 1269-h to read as follows:
3 § 1269-h. Photographs at paratransit offices. The authority shall
4 promulgate rules and regulations requiring each office operating a para-
5 transit transportation program to install and operate photo cameras in
6 each paratransit office for the purpose of photographing applicants
7 attending the required evaluation. Such rules and regulations shall set
8 forth that the taking of such photographs at such paratransit offices
9 shall be free to applicants.
10 § 2. This act shall take effect on the one hundred twentieth day after
11 it shall have become a law. Effective immediately, the addition, amend-
12 ment and/or repeal of any rule or regulation necessary for the implemen-
13 tation of this act on its effective date is authorized to be made on or
14 before such date.
