          GIGLIO -- read once and referred to the Committee on Local Governments
 
        AN ACT to amend the county law, in relation to providing grant  adminis-
          tration services to local development corporations
 

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. The county law is amended by adding a new section 220-b  to
     2  read as follows:
     3    § 220-b. Grant administration services. A county planning and communi-
     4  ty  development  department  or other appropriate county agency shall be
     5  authorized to provide grant administration services to a local  develop-
     6  ment corporation where such corporation is an eligible recipient of such
     7  grant.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
