Go to top STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 1726 2013-2014 Regular Sessions IN ASSEMBLY (Prefiled) January 9, 2013 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. HOOPER -- read once and referred to the Committee on Education AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to transfer credit The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The education law is amended by adding a new section 3102 2 to read as follows: 3 § 3102. Transfer credit. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, 4 the school authorities of each school district and each board of cooper- 5 ative educational services shall recognize and credit each teacher with 6 transfer credit on a uniform and consistent basis. 7 § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of July next succeeding 8 the date on which it shall have become a law.
