        AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to school bus seating
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. The education law is amended by adding a new section 3635-d
     2  to read as follows:
     3    § 3635-d. School bus seating. Where practicable, the youngest children
     4  shall be seated in the front of the school bus and the  oldest  children
     5  seated  in  the  rear of the school bus. Additionally, any children with
     6  disabilities or disorders that  result  in  communication  difficulties,
     7  shall be seated in the front of the school bus closest to the driver.
     8    §  2.  This act shall take effect on the first of July next succeeding
     9  the date on which it shall have become a law.
