        Introduced by M. of A. GIBSON -- read once and referred to the Committee
          on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions
 
        AN ACT to amend the religious corporations law and the executive law, in
          relation  to  setting  the  fee to 50 dollars for filing and recording
          articles of incorporation for churches
 

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  The religious corporations law is amended by adding a new
     2  section 3-a to read as follows:
     3    § 3-a. Fee for filing and recording. All counties shall charge  a  fee
     4  of fifty dollars for filing and recording a certificate of incorporation
     5  for a religious corporation.
     6    §  2.  Subdivision  9 of section 96 of the executive law is amended by
     7  adding a new paragraph (c) to read as follows:
     8    (c) For filing under the religious corporations law: a certificate  of
     9  incorporation, fifty dollars.
    10    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
