Permits change in the program or provider at a youth center financed pursuant to the youth center facility program upon approval of the office of children and family services if it does not affect the bondability of the youth center program or the tax exempt status of the applicable bonds.

AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to allowing modification
of a youth center program or provider
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Section 527-g of the executive law is amended by adding a
2 new subdivision 3 to read as follows:
3 3. If the approved applicant requests a modification in the program or
4 provider at a youth center, the applicant shall make such request to the
5 office of children and family services. Consistent with the require-
6 ments of this title, including those enumerated in subdivision two of
7 this section, the office of children and family services, in its
8 discretion, may approve in writing such modification. However, the
9 office of children and family services shall not approve any modifica-
10 tion which affects the bondability of the youth center program or the
11 tax exempt status of the applicable bonds.
12 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
