        AN  ACT  to  amend the executive law, in relation to authorizing certain
          health care providers in the state to diagnose  post-traumatic  stress
          disorder or traumatic brain injury

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Subdivision 8 of section 350 of the executive law, as added
     2  by chapter 490 of the laws of 2019, is amended to read as follows:
     3    8. The term "qualifying condition" means a diagnosis of post-traumatic
     4  stress disorder or traumatic brain injury made by, or an  experience  of
     5  military  sexual  trauma,  as described in 38 USC 1720D, as amended from
     6  time to time, disclosed to, an individual  licensed  to  provide  health
     7  care services [at a United States Department of Veterans Affairs facili-
     8  ty] in the state of New York.  The division shall develop a standardized
     9  form  used  to confirm that the veteran has a qualifying condition under
    10  this subdivision.
    11    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
