        AN ACT to amend the civil service law,  in  relation  to  extending  the

          effectiveness  of  provisions  establishing  dispute resolution during
          collective negotiations
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1. Paragraph (d) of subdivision 4 of section 209 of the civil
     2  service law, as amended by chapter 12 of the laws of 2007, is amended to
     3  read as follows:
     4    (d) The provisions of this subdivision shall expire [thirty-two] thir-
     5  ty-four years from July first, nineteen hundred seventy-seven.
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately; provided,  however,  that
     7  the  amendment  to  paragraph (d) of subdivision 4 of section 209 of the
     8  civil service law made by section one of this act shall  expire  on  the
     9  same date as such subdivision expires.
