AN ACT to amend the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to a
license to sell liquor at retail for consumption on certain premises
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Subdivision 7 of section 64 of the alcoholic beverage
2 control law is amended by adding a new paragraph (e-7) to read as
3 follows:
4 (e-7) Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (a) of this subdivi-
5 sion, the authority may issue a retail license for on-premises consump-
6 tion for a premises which shall be located within two hundred feet of a
7 building occupied exclusively as a church, synagogue, or other place of
8 worship, provided such premises constitutes a premises for the sale of
9 food or beverages at retail for the consumption on the premises located
10 wholly within the boundaries of the county of Ulster, bounded and
11 described as follows:
12 All that piece or parcel of land, situate in the City of Kingston,
13 County of Ulster and State of New York described as follows: Beginning
14 at a spike in the concrete sidewalk on the south bounds of Main Street
15 at its intersection with the west bounds of Fair Street; Thence south 8
16 degrees 10 hours 9 minutes east along the west bounds of Fair Street
17 105.31 feet to a spike in line with a three story brick building on
18 lands now or formerly Norman G. Lebhar and John W. Krueger (L.1516
19 P.425); Thence south 83 degrees 26 hours 38 minutes west along said
20 building and lands of Lebhar and Krueger 46.27 feet to a corner of said
21 building; Thence north 8 degrees 4 hours 13 minutes west along lands now
22 or formerly Lawrence A. Quilty and others (L.1422 P.123) and along the
23 brick building on the herein described parcel 102.62 feet to a
24 reinforcement rod set on the south bounds of Main Street; Thence north
25 80 degrees 6 hours 32 minutes east along said bounds of Main Street

2 as conveyed by Bernard R. Herzberg and the Estate of Rosalyn M. Nave,
3 Margaret D. Huff, Executrix to Mark J. Berlanga by deed dated September
4 15, 1995 and recorded in the Ulster County Clerk's Office on September
5 20, 1995 in Liber 2525 of Deeds at Page 200.
6 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
