        AN ACT to amend the administrative code of the  city  of  New  York,  in
          relation to prohibiting the use of fuel oil grades no. 4 and 6 for the
          heating of any residential building
 

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1.  The administrative code of the city of New York is amended
     2  by adding a new section 24-177.1 to read as follows:
     3    § 24-177.1 Residential fuel restrictions.  Residential  buildings  are
     4  prohibited  from using fuel oil grades no. 4 and 6, as classified by the
     5  American Society for Testing and Materials, for the heating of any resi-
     6  dential building.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect on the three hundred  sixty-fifth  day
     8  after it shall have become a law.
