SCARBOROUGH -- Multi-Sponsored by -- M. of A. TENNEY -- read once and referred to the Committee on Governmental Operations AN ACT to amend the legislative law, in relation to prohibiting voting on legislation during certain times The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. This act shall be known and may be cited as the "vampire 2 voting act of 2015". 3 § 2. The legislative law is amended by adding a new section 49 to read 4 as follows: 5 § 49. Voting prohibited during certain hours. Neither house of the 6 legislature shall conduct a vote on any matter, except for votes on 7 procedural matters, between the hours of nine o'clock post meridian and 8 nine o'clock antemeridian. 9 § 3.
