AN ACT to amend the workers' compensation law, in relation to establish-
ing the state insurance fund as the sole carrier for workers' compen-
sation coverage; and to repeal certain provisions of such law relating
thereto
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Subdivision 1 of section 50 of the workers' compensation
2 law is amended to read as follows:
3 1. By insuring and keeping insured the payment of such compensation in
4 the state fund[, or].
5 § 2. Subdivision 2 of section 50 of the workers' compensation law is
6 REPEALED.
7 § 3. This act shall take effect on the three hundred sixty-sixth day
8 after it shall have become a law.
