          referred to the Committee on Transportation
 
        AN ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in  relation  to  requiring
          that antique, classic or collectors cars be inspected for safety bien-
          nially instead of annually

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 301 of the vehicle and traffic law  is  amended  by
     2  adding a new subdivision (g) to read as follows:
     3    (g)  Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, clas-
     4  sic, antique or collectors vehicles shall be inspected for safety  bien-
     5  nially in accordance with all other applicable law.
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
