Go to topSTATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 5306 2015-2016 Regular Sessions IN ASSEMBLY February 17, 2015 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. GALEF -- read once and referred to the Committee on Election Law AN ACT to amend the election law, in relation to ballots The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The election law is amended by adding a new section 7-112 2 to read as follows: 3 § 7-112. Multiple page ballots. Notwithstanding any law, rule or regu- 4 lation to the contrary, the board of elections shall be authorized to 5 place the names of candidates on a ballot for any election on multiple 6 pages. 7 § 2. This act shall take effect on the one hundred twentieth day after 8 it shall have become a law. Effective immediately, the addition, amend- 9 ment and/or repeal of any rule or regulation necessary for the implemen- 10 tation of this act on its effective date is authorized to be made on or 11 before such date.
