        AN  ACT to amend the general municipal law, in relation to environmental
          conservation officers
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-

        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Paragraph  (b)  of  subdivision 1 of section 209-q of the
     2  general municipal law is amended by adding a  new  subparagraph  (v)  to
     3  read as follows:
     4    (v)  the  holder  has  completed  the  basic  school for environmental
     5  conservation officers as a sworn member of the division of law  enforce-
     6  ment in the New York state department of environmental conservation.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
