        AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to the computing  of  the
          tax effort ratio for the central high school district for the purposes
          of state school aid
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Subdivision 16 of section 3602  of  the  education  law  is
     2  amended by adding a new paragraph e to read as follows:
     3    e.  Notwithstanding any other law, rule or regulation to the contrary,
     4  a central high school district, as established pursuant to article thir-
     5  ty-nine of this chapter, shall use from each common  and/or  union  free
     6  school  within  the  central high school district, the property tax levy
     7  and adjusted gross income information  when  computing  the  tax  effort
     8  ratio  for  the  central  high school district for the purposes of state
     9  school aid.
    10    § 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2017.
