        AN ACT to amend the election law, in  relation  to  requiring  that  all
          printed  political  campaign  mailing  pieces  include a message about
          recycling the printed materials
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  The election law is amended by adding a new section 3-111
     2  to read as follows:
     3    § 3-111. Recycling of campaign and political literature.    All  poli-
     4  tical literature in New York state, whether hand-billed or mailed, shall
     5  have affixed to it, the recycling logo signified by three chasing arrows
     6  in  a triangular configuration, and the following printed message: "This
     7  material is recyclable.  Please properly recycle after use."
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
