AN ACT authorizing the county of Genesee to make voluntary revenue
distribution payments to towns or villages within the county
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the
2 county of Genesee is authorized and enabled to make voluntary revenue
3 distribution payments to towns or villages within the county by local
4 law, ordinance or resolution. If the county of Genesee chooses to make a
5 voluntary revenue distribution payment to a town or village within the
6 county, if a village wholly or partially within a town has received a
7 voluntary revenue distribution from the county, the amount distributed
8 to the town in which such village is wholly or partially situated shall
9 be first applied to part-town activities in the area of the town outside
10 of such village, and any remaining balance shall be applied to town wide
11 activities.
12 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to
13 have been in full force and effect on and after January 1, 2020.
