        AN ACT to amend chapter 386 of the laws of 1996, amending the  education

          law  relating  to providing for a waiver allowing state aid in certain
          circumstances, in relation to making such provisions permanent
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1. Section 2 of chapter 386 of the laws of 1996, amending the
     2  education law relating to providing for a waiver allowing state  aid  in
     3  certain  circumstances,  as amended by chapter 2 of the laws of 2011, is
     4  amended to read as follows:
     5    § 2. This  act  shall  take  effect  immediately,  provided  that  the
     6  provisions  of  this  act shall be deemed to have been in full force and
     7  effect on and after January 1, 1996[, and provided,  further  that  this
     8  act shall be deemed repealed on and after January 1, 2015].
     9    § 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
