Go to topSTATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 6552 2009-2010 Regular Sessions IN ASSEMBLY March 6, 2009 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. SCOZZAFAVA -- read once and referred to the Committee on Real Property Taxation AN ACT to repeal paragraph (b) of subdivision 4 of section 425 of the real property tax law relating to the income limitation for senior citizen eligibility for the enhanced school tax relief (STAR) exemption The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subdivision 4 of section 425 of the real 2 property tax law is REPEALED. 3 § 2. This act shall apply to exemption applications for the 2009--2010 4 school year and thereafter only. 5 § 3. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [] is old law to be omitted. LBD03497-02-9
