        Introduced  by M. of A. GUNTHER -- read once and referred to the Commit-
          tee on Ways and Means -- committee discharged, bill  amended,  ordered
          reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee
 
        AN  ACT  to  amend  chapter 373 of the laws of 2020 amending the tax law
          relating to authorizing the town of Wallkill to adopt a hotel or motel
          tax of up to 5%, in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Section 2 of chapter 373 of the laws of 2020 amending the
     2  tax law relating to authorizing the town of Wallkill to adopt a hotel or
     3  motel tax of up to 5%, is amended to read as follows:
     4    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall  expire  and  be
     5  deemed repealed September 1, [2023] 2025.
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
