        Introduced  by M. of A. LUPARDO -- read once and referred to the Commit-
          tee on Governmental Operations
 
        AN ACT to amend chapter 414 of the laws of 2018, creating the radon task
          force, in relation to the reporting date and effectiveness thereof
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Sections 5 and 6 of chapter 414 of the laws of 2018, creat-
     2  ing the radon task force, are amended to read as follows:
     3    §  5.  A  report of the findings and recommendations of the task force
     4  and any proposed legislation necessary to implement such findings  shall
     5  be  filed  with the governor, the temporary president of the senate, the
     6  speaker of the assembly, the minority leader  of  the  senate,  and  the
     7  minority leader of the assembly on or before [April] November first, two
     8  thousand [nineteen] twenty.
     9    §  6.  This  act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be
    10  deemed repealed [May 1, 2019] December 31, 2020.
    11    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
