          tee on Ways and Means
 
        AN  ACT  to  repeal article 28-A of the tax law, relating to the special
          tax on passenger car rentals
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 

     1    Section 1. Article 28-A of the tax law is REPEALED.
     2    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
          REPEAL  NOTE.--Article  28-A of the tax law repealed by section one of
        this act relates to the special tax on passenger car rentals.
