          tee on Governmental Operations
 
        AN ACT authorizing the office of general services to prepare  a  compre-
          hensive  study  and report on the present status and potential uses of
          all state-owned surplus property in  Richmond  county,  including  the
          Outerbridge park-and-ride
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. The office of general services shall prepare  a  comprehen-
     2  sive  study  and  report on the present status and potential uses of all
     3  state-owned surplus property in Richmond county,  including  the  Outer-
     4  bridge  park-and-ride,  and  all properties within the boundaries of the
     5  mapped Korean War Veterans Highway.
     6    § 2. The commissioner of general services shall make a report  to  the
     7  governor and the legislature of findings, conclusions and recommendation
     8  prepared  from such comprehensive study no later than one year after the
     9  effective date of this act and shall submit with its report such  legis-
    10  lative proposals as it deems necessary to implement its recommendation.
    11    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
