        Introduced  by  M.  of  A.  GOTTFRIED  --  read once and referred to the
          Committee on Health
 
        AN ACT to amend the public health law,  in  relation  to  including  the
          record  of completion of annually required in-service education in the
          state home care worker registry

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Subdivision 3 of section 3613 of the public health law is
     2  amended by adding a new paragraph (i) to read as follows:
     3    (i) A record of each in-service training and hours  completed  by  the
     4  worker toward fulfillment of his/her annual in-service training require-
     5  ments  stipulated  in  the regulations of the department; such record of
     6  completion shall be timely submitted for inclusion in the  registry  for
     7  each  worker  by the home care services entity conducting the in-service
     8  for such worker.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of January next  succeed-
    10  ing the date on which it shall have become a law.
