        AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to requiring dentists and
          dental hygienists to use digital radiography on patients under the age
          of eighteen
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 6611 of the education law is amended  by  adding  a
     2  new subdivision 7-a to read as follows:
     3    7-a.  No  later than January first, two thousand fourteen, any dentist
     4  or dental hygienist who in the performance of  dental  services,  x-rays
     5  the  mouth  or  teeth of a patient under the age of eighteen, shall only
     6  use digital radiography for such patient.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
