        Introduced  by M. of A. LiPETRI -- read once and referred to the Commit-
          tee on Governmental Employees
 
        AN ACT to authorize Patrick Deery to receive  10  legacy  credit  points
          pursuant to section 85-a of the civil service law
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 85-a of the civil
     2  service law, or any other law to the contrary, Patrick Deery, of  Massa-
     3  pequa  Park,  New  York, shall be authorized to receive 10 legacy credit
     4  points pursuant to section 85-a of the civil service law.
     5    § 2. Patrick Deery shall otherwise be subject to the merit and fitness
     6  provisions of the civil service law applicable to  full-time  firefight-
     7  ers.
     8    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
