        Introduced by M. of A. DUPREY -- read once and referred to the Committee
          on Environmental Conservation -- recommitted to the Committee on Envi-
          ronmental  Conservation  in accordance with Assembly Rule 3, sec. 2 --
          committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as  amended  and
          recommitted  to said committee -- reported and referred to the Commit-
          tee on Ways and Means -- committee discharged, bill  amended,  ordered

        AN  ACT  to  amend  the executive law, in relation to designating Little
          Wolf and Simon as inland waterways for purposes of waterfront revital-
          ization
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Subdivision  4  of  section  911 of the executive law, as
     2  amended by chapter 133 of the laws of 2012, paragraph (a) as  separately
     3  amended  by  chapters  92  and  97 of the laws of 2015, paragraph (b) as
     4  separately amended by chapters 95, 96 and 97 of the laws of 2015,  para-
     5  graph  (c)  as  amended by chapter 98 of the laws of 2015, is amended to
     6  read as follows:
     7    4. "Inland waterways" shall mean (a) the state's  major  inland  lakes
     8  consisting  of  lakes Ballston, Big Tupper, Black, Campfire, Canadarago,
     9  Canandaigua, Cayuga, Champlain, Chateaugay, Chautauqua,  Conesus,  Cran-
    10  berry,  Echo  (in  the  county of Westchester), George, Great Sacandaga,
    11  Honeoye, Indian, Keuka, Little Wolf (in the county of  Franklin),  Long,
    12  Mirror,   Oneida,  Onondaga,  Otisco,  Otsego,  Owasco,  Peach,  Placid,
    13  Raquette, Ronkonkoma, Sacandaga, Saratoga, Schroon, Seneca, Skaneateles,
    14  Silver (in the county of Wyoming) and Saranac, Simon (in the  county  of
    15  Franklin)  and  the  Fulton chain of lakes; (b) the state's major rivers
    16  comprised of the Allegheny, Ausable, Battenkill, Black,  Boquet,  Bronx,
    17  Canisteo,  Chaumont  (including  Chaumont bay), Chemung, Cohocton, Dela-
    18  ware, Deer, Genesee, Grasse, Great Chazy, Hoosic, Hudson  north  of  the
    19  federal  dam  at  Troy,  Indian, Little (in the Adirondack park), Little

     1  Ausable, Little  Salmon  (including  north  and  south  branches),  Mad,
     2  Mettowee,  Mohawk, Oswegatchie, Pocantico, Racquette, Sacandaga, Salmon,
     3  Saranac, Saw Mill, Schroon, Susquehanna,  Tioga,  Tioughnioga,  Wallkill
     4  and  Buffalo  rivers,  and  the  north  and middle branches of the Moose
     5  river; (c) the state's major creeks  comprised  of  the  18  Mile  Creek
     6  located  in  Erie  county, Bushkill, Cattaraugus, Cincinnati, East Kill,
     7  Esopus (including upper and lower branches), Fish  (including  east  and
     8  west  branches),  Gooseberry,  Little Sandy, Onondaga, Sandy, Schoharie,
     9  South Sandy, Oatka, Tonawanda,  West  Kill,  Scajaquada,  Wappinger  and
    10  Wynantskill; (d) the Barge Canal System as defined in section two of the
    11  canal  law;  and  (e)  the  adjacent  shorelands to the extent that such
    12  inland waters and adjacent lands are strongly influenced by  each  other
    13  including, but not limited to, islands, wetlands, beaches, dunes, barri-
    14  er islands, cliffs, bluffs and erosion prone areas.
    15    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
