AN ACT to amend the tax law, in relation to exempt sales of certain
marine vessels
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Subdivision (a) of section 1115 of the tax law is amended
2 by adding a new paragraph 44 to read as follows:
3 (44) The sale of a marine vessel where there has been sales tax
4 collected on a previous sale of the same vessel pursuant to section
5 eleven hundred five of this article.
6 § 2. This act shall take effect January 1, 2013, and shall apply to
7 sales made on and after such date.
