        Introduced  by  M.  of  A.  BLANKENBUSH -- read once and referred to the
          Committee on Transportation
 
        AN ACT to amend the highway law, in  relation  to  establishing  minimum
          maintenance roads in the town of Montague, Lewis county
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Paragraph g of subdivision 4 of section 205-c of the  high-
     2  way law, as added by chapter 690 of the laws of 2023, is amended to read
     3  as follows:
     4    g.  "Designated  town"  shall  mean  the  town  of Lorraine, Jefferson
     5  county, and the town of Montague, Lewis county.
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however that if
     7  chapter 690 of the laws of 2023 shall not have taken effect on or before
     8  such date then section one of this act shall take  effect  on  the  same
     9  date  and  in  the same manner as such chapter of the laws of 2023 takes
    10  effect; and provided, further, that the amendments to section  205-c  of
    11  the  highway  law  made  by section one of this act shall not affect the
    12  repeal of such section and shall be deemed repealed therewith.
