        Introduced  by  M.  of  A.  JEAN-PIERRE -- read once and referred to the
          Committee on Governmental Operations
 
        AN ACT  to  amend  the  executive  law,  in  relation  to  human  rights
          violations by a real estate appraiser
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Paragraphs k and l of subdivision 1 of section 160-u of the
     2  executive law, as amended by chapter  397  of  the  laws  of  1991,  are
     3  amended and a new paragraph m is added to read as follows:
     4    k.  Violating the confidential nature of governmental records to which
     5  he or she gained access through employment or engagement as an appraiser
     6  by a governmental agency; [or]
     7    l. Entry of a final civil judgment against the person  on  grounds  of
     8  fraud,  misrepresentation  or  deceit  in the making of any appraisal of
     9  real property[.]; or
    10    m. Violation of article fifteen of the executive law committed in  his
    11  or her capacity as a real estate appraiser.
    12    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
