Go to top STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 9506 IN ASSEMBLY May 5, 2014 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. LIFTON -- read once and referred to the Committee on Judiciary AN ACT to amend the real property law, in relation to filing of maps in county clerk offices The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 334 of the real property law is amended by adding a 2 new subdivision 2-a to read as follows: 3 2-a. Notwithstanding any other provisions in this article, a county 4 clerk may adopt a system to receive and retain maps utilizing an elec- 5 tro-mechanical, electronic or any other method they deem suitable for 6 receiving and retaining maps. 7 § 2.
