        Introduced  by  M.  of  A.  RICHARDSON  -- read once and referred to the
          Committee on Aging --  committee  discharged,  bill  amended,  ordered
          reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee
 
        AN ACT to amend the elder law, in relation to congregate services initi-
          ative for the elderly
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Subparagraphs 9 and 10 of paragraph (d) of subdivision 1 of
     2  section 217 of the elder law are amended and two  new  subparagraphs  11
     3  and 12 are added to read as follows:
     4    (9) Employment services information; [and]
     5    (10) Health promotion and disease prevention services[.];
     6    (11) Financial literacy education; and
     7    (12) Elder abuse education and outreach.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
