Go to topSTATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 9755 IN ASSEMBLY April 2, 2012 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. GUNTHER -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to authorizing certain individuals to hunt with a muzzle loader The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 11-0701 of the environmental conservation law is 2 amended by adding a new subdivision 18 to read as follows: 3 18. A junior muzzle-loading stamp when affixed to a junior small game 4 license entitles a holder who is twelve years of age or older to hunt 5 wild deer and bear with a muzzle-loading firearm, as provided in title 9 6 of this article, in a special muzzle-loading firearm season. 7 § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of January next succeed- 8 ing the date on which it shall have become a law.
