        Introduced  by  M.  of  A.  O'DONNELL  --  read once and referred to the

        AN ACT to amend the correction law,  in  relation  to  making  technical
          corrections thereto
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 500 of the correction law, as added by chapter  604

     2  of the laws of 1987, is amended to read as follows:
     3    §  500.  Application  of article. The provisions of this article shall
     4  apply to all local correctional facilities  as  defined  by  subdivision
     5  [fifteen] sixteen of section two of this chapter.
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
