        Introduced  by  M.  of  A.  ROSENTHAL, DINOWITZ, TOBACCO, MAISEL, TITUS,
          COLTON, GIBSON, JACOBS -- Multi-Sponsored by -- M. of A. GLICK,  MENG,
          MILLMAN  --  read  once  and referred to the Committee on Education --
          committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as  amended  and
          recommitted to said committee
 
        AN  ACT  to  amend  the  New York city charter, in relation to reporting

          requirements for PCB remediation in city schools
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.   Section 530-d of the New York city charter is amended by
     2  adding a new subdivision e to read as follows:
     3    e. In addition to the requirements set  forth  above,  the  department
     4  shall  maintain  a list on the department's website grouping each school
     5  according to the year in which the department has taken  steps  or  will
     6  take  steps  to address reportable PCB levels. Such information shall be
     7  updated annually.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect on the sixtieth  day  after  it  shall
     9  have become a law.
