        Introduced  by M. of A. REILLY, DESTITO, MAGEE, GALEF, GUNTHER -- Multi-
          Sponsored by -- M. of A. GABRYSZAK,  KOON,  McENENY,  MILLMAN  --  (at
          request of the Department of Agriculture and Markets) -- read once and
          referred to the Committee on Governmental Operations
 
        AN  ACT to amend the public officers law, in relation to post-employment
          restrictions
 

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Subdivision 8 of section 73 of the public officers law is
     2  amended by adding a new paragraph (i) to read as follows:
     3    (i) The provisions of subparagraphs (i) and (ii) of paragraph  (a)  of
     4  this subdivision shall not apply to any person as a result of his or her
     5  temporary employment by the New York state department of agriculture and
     6  markets  in the civil service title of veterinarian one or animal health
     7  inspector one and their service, in that capacity, as a  member  of  the
     8  New York state emergency veterinary corps.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
