        Introduced  by M. of A. NOLAN -- read once and referred to the Committee
          on Education
 
        AN ACT to amend chapter 147 of the laws of 2001, amending the  education
          law  relating  to  conditional appointment of school district, charter
          school or BOCES employees, in relation to extending the  effectiveness
          thereof
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-

        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1.  Section 12 of chapter 147 of the laws  of  2001,  amending
     2  the   education  law  relating  to  conditional  appointment  of  school
     3  district, charter school or BOCES employees, as amended by  chapter  179
     4  of the laws of 2009, is amended to read as follows:
     5    §  12.  This  act shall take effect on the same date as chapter 180 of
     6  the laws of 2000 takes effect, and shall expire July 1, [2010] 2011 when
     7  upon such date the provisions of this act shall be deemed repealed.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
