        AN  ACT  to  amend  the  real property tax law, in relation to requiring
          special franchise owners to provide public utility reports  to  asses-
          sors upon request
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. The real property tax  law  is  amended  by  adding  a  new
     2  section 604-a to read as follows:
     3    § 604-a. Special franchise reports to local assessors. A special fran-
     4  chise owner shall, upon the request of the assessor of the local assess-
     5  ing  jurisdiction  in  which  such owner's special franchise property is
     6  located, provide to such assessor a  copy  of  any  annual  reports  and
     7  supplemental  reports filed by such owner with the commissioner pursuant
     8  to subdivision two of section six hundred four of this article regarding
     9  such property, except for annual financial reports or statements, within
    10  ten business days of such request.
    11    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall apply to  annual
    12  reports and supplemental reports filed with the commissioner of taxation
    13  and finance on and after such effective date.
