        Introduced  by  COMMITTEE ON RULES -- (at request of M. of A. Fernandez)
          -- read once and referred to the Committee on Health
 
        AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to requiring a certi-
          fied dietitian on-site during hours of operation  at  a  comprehensive
          care center for eating disorders
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Paragraphs (c) and (d) of subdivision 1 of  section  2799-g
     2  of  the  public health law, paragraph (c) as added by chapter 114 of the
     3  laws of 2004 and paragraph (d) as amended by section 12  of  part  A  of
     4  chapter 109 of the laws of 2010, are amended to read as follows:
     5    (c)  The  applicant is able to conduct activities for community educa-
     6  tion, prevention, information/referral and research; [and]
     7    (d) The applicant meets such additional criteria as are established by
     8  the commissioner; and
     9    (e) The applicant has a certified  dietitian  as  defined  in  section
    10  eight  thousand  one of the education law on-site during hours of opera-
    11  tion.
    12    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
