Go to topSTATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 11725 IN ASSEMBLY November 24, 2010 ___________ Introduced by COMMITTEE ON RULES -- (at request of M. of A. Pretlow) -- read once and referred to the Committee on Local Governments AN ACT to authorize the county of Westchester to issue serial bonds to finance certain payments over a period of five years The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The county of Westchester is hereby authorized to issue 2 serial bonds in an aggregate principal amount to be determined by the 3 Westchester county board of legislators, for a period of probable 4 usefulness not to exceed five years, which shall apply to the specific 5 object or purpose of payment, by the county of Westchester, of all costs 6 associated with or related to the 2010 Early Retirement Incentive. In 7 anticipation of the issuance and sale of such serial bonds, bond antic- 8 ipation notes are hereby authorized to be issued. 9 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
