COMMENDING Barbara Huggins upon the occasion of
her retirement after more than 30 years of
distinguished service to Citizens Financial Group,
Inc.
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to acknowledge
the significant milestones in the distinguished careers of esteemed
residents of this noble Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Barbara Huggins upon the occasion of her retirement after more than 30
years of distinguished service to Citizens Financial Group, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, For the past three decades, Barbara Huggins rendered
faithful, conscientious and valuable service to Citizens Financial
Group, Inc., earning the admiration, esteem and affection of her
colleagues; and
WHEREAS, Citizens Financial Group, Inc. is one of the nation's
oldest and largest financial institutions, with $158.6 billion in assets
as of September 30, 2018; and
WHEREAS, Headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island, Citizens
Financial Group, Inc. offers a broad range of retail and commercial
banking products and services to individuals, small businesses,
middle-market companies, large corporations and institutions; and
WHEREAS, Barbara Huggins has served as a Teller Manager faithfully
and confidently; one of her achievements was in 2012, when she had a
brick with their name placed in a wall at Citizen's Headquarters in
Providence, recognizing her 25 years of service; and
WHEREAS, In her capacity as a Teller Manager, Barbara Huggins served
with loyalty, honor and distinction, and was governed by a keen sense of
duty and always showed a unique grasp of human problems in her official
acts; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Barbara Huggins upon the occasion of her retirement after more
than 30 years of distinguished service to Citizens Financial Group,
Inc.; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Barbara Huggins.
