CONGRATULATING Arianna Aman upon the occasion of
being named the 2023-2024 New York State Dairy
Ambassador
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize and
applaud the leaders of commerce and industry whose accomplishments
contribute to the economic health and prosperity of the communities of
the State of New York and to the quality of life of its people; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
congratulate Arianna Aman upon the occasion of being named the 2023-2024
New York State Dairy Ambassador; and
WHEREAS, Arianna Aman was selected for this prestigious position at
an event on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in Syracuse, New York; she is
the second person from Tioga County to hold this honor; and
WHEREAS, Arianna Aman grew up on her family's dairy farm in Candor,
New York, and has been a part of the New York State Dairy Ambassador
Program for seven years; and
WHEREAS, Throughout her year of service, Arianna Aman will travel
across the State of New York, promoting and spreading the good news
about milk and dairy products and listening and lending a helping hand
to anyone in the industry; and
WHEREAS, As ambassador, Arianna Aman is committed to helping
passionate young dairy farmers build their critical professional skills
and confidence in order to be the very best they can be; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Arianna Aman upon the occasion of being named the 2023-2024
New York State Dairy Ambassador; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Arianna Aman.
