Senate Resolution No. 1726

        MOURNING    the   death   of   Kimberly   McKeown,
        distinguished  citizen,  cherished  member  of   her
        family and community, and devoted public servant
 
  WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to pay tribute to
citizens  of  the  State  of  New York whose lifework and civic endeavor
served to enhance the quality of life  in  their  communities  and  this
great Empire State; and
 
  WHEREAS,  Kimberly  McKeown  of  Putnam  Valley,  New  York, died on
Monday, January 15, 2024; and
 
  WHEREAS, Kimberly McKeown distinguished herself  in  her  profession
and  by  her  sincere  dedication  and  substantial  contribution to the
welfare of her community; and
 
  WHEREAS, As the Putnam Valley Town Clerk,  Kimberly  McKeown  served
with  an  unrelenting sense of purpose, positivity, and genuine care for
the members of her community; and
 
  WHEREAS, Kimberly McKeown's commitment to excellence and  spirit  of
humanity   carried   over  into  all  fields  of  enterprise,  including
charitable and civic endeavors; and
 
  WHEREAS, Always able to gracefully handle the demands of her  career
and  family  life,  Kimberly McKeown will be undoubtedly remembered as a
resilient, radiant, and remarkable person  whose  legacy  serves  as  an
inspiration to all those who had the pleasure of knowing her; and
 
  WHEREAS, Kimberly McKeown is survived by her beloved husband, Terry,
and cherished sons, TJ and Michael; and
 
  WHEREAS,  Armed  with a humanistic spirit and imbued with a sense of
compassion, Kimberly McKeown leaves behind  a  legacy  which  will  long
endure the passage of time and will remain as a comforting memory to all
she served and befriended; now, therefore, be it
 
  RESOLVED,  That  this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
mourn the death of Kimberly McKeown,  distinguished  citizen,  cherished
member  of  her family and community, and devoted public servant; and be
it further
 
  RESOLVED, That a copy of this  Resolution,  suitably  engrossed,  be
transmitted to the family of Kimberly McKeown.
