        Introduced  by  Sen.  LANZA  -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Transportation
 
        AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in  relation  to  increasing
          the  amount  of surplus to be transferred by the triborough bridge and

          tunnel authority to the New York city transit authority
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Clause  (i)  of paragraph (b) of subdivision 2 of section
     2  1219-a of the public authorities law, as amended by section 19 of part O
     3  of chapter 61 of the laws of 2000, is amended to read as follows:
     4    (i) [twenty-four million dollars  plus  fifty  percentum]  eighty  per
     5  centum  of  the  balance of such operating surplus shall be allocable to
     6  the authority, and
     7    § 2. This act shall  take  effect  on  the  first  of  September  next
     8  succeeding the date on which it shall have become a law.
