        AN  ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in relation to requiring a
          licensee's residential address to be printed on his  or  her  driver's
          license
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 504 of the vehicle and traffic law  is  amended  by
     2  adding a new subdivision 4 to read as follows:
     3    4.  The  commissioner  shall  require  that every license issued to an
     4  applicant indicate the applicant's current residential address in  addi-
     5  tion  to any post office box address indicated. In the event of a change
     6  of residential address, it shall be the duty of the licensee  to  notify
     7  the  commissioner  of such change pursuant to the provisions of subdivi-

     8  sion five of section five hundred five of this article.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect on the ninetieth day  after  it  shall
    10  have become a law.
