        Introduced  by  Sen. RITCHIE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Education
 
        AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to requiring  records  of
          all  traffic  violations  by bus drivers to be provided to parents and
          guardians upon request

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. The education law is amended by adding a new section 3650-d
     2  to read as follows:
     3    § 3650-d. Records of traffic violations. A record of any and all traf-
     4  fic  violations, as well as all offenses committed in the operation of a
     5  motor vehicle, of  a  school  district's  bus  driver,  including  those
     6  acquired  outside  the  employment  of  driving  a  school bus, shall be
     7  provided by the school district to a parent or guardian of a student who
     8  rides the bus of such driver upon request.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
