        Introduced  by  Sen. SERRANO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Cities -- reported favora-
          bly from said committee, ordered to first  report,  amended  on  first
          report,  ordered  to  a second report and ordered reprinted, retaining
          its place in the order of second report

        AN ACT relating to the sale, lease or other disposition of  property  of
          the  New  York  city department of education, the New York city educa-
          tional construction fund and the New  York  city  school  construction
          authority
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any law, rule or regulation to the  contra-
     2  ry,  in  addition  to complying with the provisions of this section, any
     3  sale, lease, exchange or other disposition of land or buildings  of  the
     4  New  York  city  department  of education, the New York city educational
     5  construction fund, and the New York city school  construction  authority
     6  shall  be  subject  to  and shall comply with the provisions of New York
     7  city's uniform land use review procedure.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
