        Introduced  by  Sen.  LITTLE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Environmental Conservation
 
        AN ACT to amend the  environmental  conservation  law,  in  relation  to
          granting the office of parks, recreation and historic preservation the
          authority  to  operate the Camp Santanoni historic area, in the county
          of Essex
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  The  opening  paragraph of section 9-0901 of the environ-
     2  mental conservation law is designated subdivision 1, and a new  subdivi-
     3  sion 2 is added to read as follows:
     4    2.  Notwithstanding  any  other  provision of law to the contrary, the
     5  office of parks, recreation and historic preservation shall  have  care,
     6  custody,  control and management of Camp Santanoni historic area, in the
     7  county of Essex.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
